A unique and cosy pop-up glamping site

Located on the banks of the River Ure next to a quaint and historical wooden toll bridge, Aldwark Bridge Glamping offers a unique and personal camping experience.

Nestled between York and Harrogate, the site boasts a fantastic pit stop on the Coast to Coast cycling route, free landing access to the River Ure to enjoy kayaking and stand up paddle boarding and a beautiful river side walk to the local pub.

Matt and Joanna invite you to glamp in style here at our cosy garden site with luxury shower room, extensive outdoor kitchen and welcoming communal fire pit seating area.

what's on site?

Luxury Family Outdoor Bathroom

hotel standard bathroom on a camp site? yes please!

beautifully tiled wet room, featuring high flush toilet, Belfast basin unit and a walk in (or wheel in - yes, we are wheel chair friendly) waterfall shower.

Outdoor Kitchen

well equipped kitchen area featuring dual gas hob and Belfast sink, set into a substantial concrete worktop. chunky shelves stacked with pots, pans, table ware and utensils and of course the beer fridge. for milk obviously.

the focal point and heart of our glamping site. With a view of Aldwark Toll Bridge and constructed from the old bridge timbers, a place to meet together, relax, watch the stars, chatter, drink and make music. nothing could be more hygge.

The Fire Pit

With very few neighbours, this site can be a quiet and idyllic retreat in the country side, but please note we are located between a toll bridge that rumbles when vehicles cross and a Scout Activity Centre. When occupied, the camping field next door can be noisy with all the fun happening during the day. We do ask our visitors to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and avoid bad language, particularly when children are on site.
