welcome to ALDWARK BRIDGE GLAMPING

A unique and cosy pop-up glamping site

Located in North Yorkshire by the River Ure and a charming historical wooden toll bridge, Aldwark Bridge Glamping is a family-run site offering a fun, relaxing, and personal escape.

Nestled between York and Harrogate, our site makes a fantastic pit stop on the Coast to Coast cycling route. With free landing access to the River Ure, guests can enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the water. There’s also a beautiful riverside walk that leads you straight to the local pub — the perfect way to end a day of adventure.

Matt and Joanna invite you to glamp in style at our cosy garden site, complete with a luxury shower room, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and a welcoming communal fire pit seating area — ideal for toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.

what's on site?

Luxury Family Outdoor Bathroom

Hotel-standard bathroom on a campsite? Yes please!
Our beautifully tiled wet room brings a touch of luxury to the great outdoors. It features a stylish high-flush toilet, a classic Belfast sink unit, and a spacious walk-in — or wheel-in (yes, we’re wheelchair-friendly!) — waterfall shower. Who says camping can’t be comfortable?.

Outdoor Kitchen

Our well-equipped outdoor kitchen has everything you need
Cook up a storm with the dual gas hob and classic Belfast sink, all set into a chunky concrete worktop. Sturdy shelves are stacked with pots, pans, tableware and utensils — everything you need for al fresco dining.

It’s all under a sail cover, with festoon lights strung up to keep the glow going after dark. BBQs and utensils for those fire-side feasts. And yes, there’s a beer fridge (for milk, obviously).

The heart of our glamping site
Our firepit is the warm, glowing heart of Aldwark Bridge Glamping. Built from reclaimed timbers from the old toll bridge and set with a view of the bridge itself, it’s the perfect place to gather. With rustic communal seating all around, it invites guests to relax, chat, sip, sing, and stargaze. Whether you're toasting marshmallows or sharing stories, nothing could be more hygge.

The Fire Pit

Together, we’ve poured our time, energy, and love into creating a glamping site that feels like home. We believe in life’s simple pleasures — slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and making memories with the people who matter most.

We’re so proud of what we’ve created, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

With very few neighbours, this site can be a quiet and idyllic retreat in the country side, but please note we are located between a toll bridge that rumbles when vehicles cross and a Scout Activity Centre. When occupied, the camping field next door can be noisy with all the fun happening during the day. We do ask our visitors to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and avoid bad language, particularly when children are on site.
